Call Of Duty Animation Director Khoa Le Joins Splitgate 2 Team

Today, developer 1047 Games announced the addition of former Call of Duty Animation Director Khoa Le to the Splitgate 2 team. Le has been a member of the video game industry for 17 years, working on a variety of AAA games, including Ratchet & Clank, Sunset Overdrive, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and more.

It is 1047’s belief that Le will help the company craft a competitive FPS “where every movement feels fluid, from reloading a weapon to tossing a grenade to seamlessly shooting a portal for a strategic flank”. As portals are the primary feature of the game, players need to be able to move quickly and easily, and the movement needs to be as natural as possible. As Le notes in the press release, “the kinetics of Splitgate 2 open up so many possibilities to make the action’s spectacle match the energy that a high-octane showdown between premier athletes demands”.
