If You Can Dodge A Wrench, You Can Dodge A Ball In Rogue Company's Arms Dealer Update
Today, First Watch Games dropped the "Arms Dealer" update for its free-to-play team shooter Rogue Company. The update introduces a few kinds of limited-time content, including the Arms Dealer event for which it is named and a special, limited-time dodgeball mode.
The Arms Dealer event rewards players with special items for completing any of 12 available active missions. Completing a mission earns Credits that can be exchanged for Shipments, more specifically, Standard Shipments. This is important to note because three kinds of shipments exist. The other two include Exclusive Shipments, which are purchased with Rogue Bucks, and the Special Reserve shipment that will only become available once a player has purchased all the other shipments. (Standard shipments can also be purchased with Rogue Bucks.)
The shipments consist of cosmetic items, including wraps, avatars, emotes, and titles. And several of them are Easter-themed, such as the Eggs-plosive Avatar (an Easter-egg themed grenade avatar).
Arms Dealer also introduces the limited-time 4v4 Dodgeball mode. This is a last-team standing mode in which eliminated players wait in the wings for a chance to respawn. In order for that to happen, a teammate must eliminate a player on the other team. This keeps going until only one team has members left on the field.
The update also adds three new maps and makes the typical changes to weapons, rogues, and more. These changes and additional bug fixes can be read about in the patch notes.
