Cats, Witches, And Ghouls: Star Trek Online's Halloween Event Features The Cat's Tale TFO
No word on Neverwinter's Masquerade of Liars yet.
As the end of the month approaches and we expect a number of employees behind Star Trek Online and Neverwinter to be laid off, the MMORPGs will be all about showing players it's "business as usual" for their game. Star Trek Online's Witching Hour is upon us as the game celebrates Halloween. The event is running already and will conclude on November 7th, so you should have plenty of time to get the new rewards.
Remember, though, to get the main rewards from the event, you need to complete at least 14 days' worth of Daily Progress by running the "Cat's Tale" ground TFO or by completing one of two "Delving the Castle" ground patrols. Your daily timer isn't actually "daily" though, it resets every 20 hours. While you do have until November 7th for get the main prizes, you do need at least 14 days to lock them in.
What are the rewards? One is an account wide melee weapon called Beowulf's Blade. This two-handed sword has a finishing move that breaks enemy armor, opening them up to extra damage. Its tertiary action, Grendel Slayer, sends you leaping at a target and pinning it in place briefly.
In addition to the blade, you can also claim Reward Box and Dilithium Ore combo, but you can only claim these rewards on one character.
There's also a Star Trek Discovery reward in the way of Grudge, the majestic Maine Coon. Nice!
That said, we still don't have any word on when Neverwinter's Masquerade of Liars Halloween event will kick off, so we'll have to wait on that one.
