Cozy Life Sim Heartopia Kicks Off Closed Beta

XD Games has a new cozy social game in the works, and today they kicked off the game’s closed beta test. Named “Heartopia” the game is described as a modern life simulation game, and it looks pretty cute. The game features adorable characters (and critters) living in a contemporary, somewhat urban setting. It’s designed with relaxing vibes in mind. So players can expect to engage in chill social activities.

As stated in the press release, the game features a set of “core pillars” intended to define the experience. These include “deep relationship and narrative systems that allow connections to grow naturally”. Playesr can easily customize their characters and their homes and take part in things like real-time social encounters. Of course there is an exploration factor as well.

Despite the game being in closed beta, it seems that anyone who wants to take part can. All you need to do is go to the game’s official site and download the client that works for you. The game is currently available on mobile devices and PC via the official launcher. The test will last for about two weeks, ending on November 18.
