CrossfireX Update Adds Mexico Map To The Event Playlist
Play on the Classic or Modern Map and earn lots of GP.
The latest update for Smilegate’s team shooter CrossfireX is now available to players and has new maps to explore. Update 2.1.5.1 adds a new map to the event playlist as well as the Classic and Modern playlists. A couple of maps have also been removed, so it all balances out. The new event map is Mexico. It’s a team deathmatch with two versions; Classic and Modern. Players can earn 20,000 GP for completing matches in either version, so you'll want to get those in.
The other new maps are classic and modern versions of Naval Base. In addition, Invasion (Spectre) has been moved to the Classic playlist. A few maps have been removed as well: Babylon Lab – Nano Mode (Classic) and Submarine – Team Deathmatch (Event). Don’t worry, they might return at a later time.
As for the rest of the update, it adds three new weapons: the SC-SSR (Sniper Rifle), the FSG-12 (Shotgun), and the BP93 (Pistol). These take 1000-2000 GP to unlock so those event maps might come in handy.
Speaking of GP, adjustments have been made to the bonuses that will be rewarded at the end of a match. One match earns 10 bonus GP, 2 in a row earns 15, and 3 in a row will earn players 25 bonus GP. After that, players will receive 25 bonus GP for every match. Provided they don’t leave a match in progress.
