Cryptic Mixes It Up With Timed Episodic Content For Neverwinter
New episodic content is now available for Neverwinter on PC. Titled The Redeemed Citadel, the new update adds several kinds of new content, including a limited-time campaign. In the new campaign, the Archdevil Zariel is working to restore the Bleeding Citadel, so that it may once again become a "bastion of angelic strength". Instead of dealing with hauls or campaign tasks, players will be tasked with teaming up to reforge the citadel. The only way to do this is to complete challenge missions and reach four major milestones. Doing so will also earn players the currency Zariel Favor -- which can be exchanged for rewards.
Of course, this means the Redeemed Citadel is now a new area in the game. Players will be able to explore parts of the citadel over time as they reach various milestones. There are also new quests related to rebuilding the citadel, as well as plenty of new rewards. As always, more information is available on the Neverwinter site.
For those of you playing on console, you will have to wait a bit. No dates for Xbox One or PlayStation 4 has been provided as of yet. But we will let you know when they are.
