DCUO Celebrates Wonder Woman With Summer of Wonder
Wonder Woman has been one of the most iconic superheroes in the world since her comics debut in late 1941. To commemorate her 75th anniversary -- or is it birthday? -- Daybreak Game Company is celebrating the Summer of Wonder, with new content available to all players, paid and free.
The only difference for paid and free players for these open episodes Open Episodes is that players who purchase the content will have shorter loot lock-out times. Additionally, if you log in during the Summer of Wonder event, which runs until Aug. 21, you'll get a special Wonder Woman 75 in-game emblem. And be sure to check out Daybreak's video commemorating Wonder Woman's 75 years with various DCUO team members and Wonder Woman voice actress Susan Eisenberg.
Also, in case you missed it, Update 27, arriving in August, will be the last of DCUO's monthly updates, as the game switches to having larger, but less frequent updates. That one will be titled Amazon Fury, Part III, and will likely continue the Summer of Wonder and celebration of all things Wonder Woman.
