Dead By Daylight Reveals A Ton Of new Content For Its Sixth Anniversary
There's even a dating sim.
Dead by Daylight is turning six and the developers are following the yearly tradition of celebrating with a special anniversary broadcast. During this year’s broadcast, Behaviour Interactive announced the game’s next chapter, Roots of Dread. They also showed off a visual novel titled Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating sim. And, there’s even an Attack on Titan crossover collection.
The Roots of Dread chapter introduces The Dredge, "a formless mass of twisted limbs writhing in the shadows". It’s the game’s take on the monster under the bed and has the ability to transport between Lockers. Also being introduced is Haddie Kaur, a Survivor from India by way of Quebec. She has a thing for the paranormal – which explains why she’s here now.
In weirder news, Hooked on You is the Dead by Daylight dating sim you never wanted. Honestly… I don’t know what to say about this. Apparently, there’s romance…and um…shirtless outfits? So yeah. That’s a thing now. It takes place on Murderer’s Island, where four Killers are looking for romance. There’s also a bit of mystery and questions must be answered. Okay, it’s weird.
For Attack on Titan fans, a new outfit collection is available. There are ten outfits in all, for both Killers and Survivors. Everyone needs to look like an anime hero...or villain.
