Delta Force Announces Multiple April Fools’ Day-Themed Events
Saeed takes over the Delta Force social media, but some of the things he posts might actually be real.
Once again, it’s almost time for a day full of joke articles and announcements in the video game industry. Is that new feature real? Possibly. Is it a joke? More than likely.
In the case of Delta Force, players will be playing “is it real or not” with the shooter game’s social media as the character Saeed takes over its social media accounts. Not everything Saeed posts will be real, but some things will be, and those things will offer rewards.
If you don’t want to spend time figuring out which events are real and which aren’t, the devs have your back. A press release shared today details three events. The first is Saeed’s Arsenal, running from April 1 to April 7. During this event, players can trade in Antler Wall Decorations for rare gear. Rewards include the Heavy Climbing Backpack, Hurricane Tactical Chest Rick, Mask-1 Iron Helmet, and the Elite Vest.
Two events are already live. These are the Fools’ Rocketeer and a Login Rewards event. Both will be live until April 3. During the Fools’ Rocketeer event, special Rocketeers will appear on the map. Players will want to take them down in order to obtain exclusive loot. As you’d expect, the Login Rewards event only requires that players log in to earn free goodies.
