The Edge of Fate expansion for Destiny 2 is now live.
This update marks the beginning of the Fate Saga, launching players of the free-to-play shooter into a new chapter as Guardians follow a mysterious signal to the edge of the solar system. They’re lead to a profound revelation that changes everything.
Also, with the introduction of world tiers, players can tailor the game's difficulty to their preference, unlocking greater challenges, deeper storylines, powerful gear, and hidden secrets as they progress.
The story introduces Kepler, a mysterious planetoid concealed within Sol, featuring a lost human outpost and distorted Fallen territories — all influenced by a dangerous Anomaly. Guardians will gain new destination abilities fueled by dark matter and salvaged enemy tech. Along the way, they'll battle new enemies, including the Kobolds and the Fallen Corsairs.
