Dragon Battler Century: Age Of Ashes Has A Closed Beta This Weekend
Playwing Ltd.'s is hosting a closed beta for free-to-play dragon-battler Century: Age of Ashes this weekend. It will take place from Friday, January 29 to Sunday, January 31, and you can sign up for it via the game's Steam page by clicking on the "Request Access" button on the page. If you miss out on this session, you'll have another chance during the next closed beta in February.
Since our last look at the game in December, Playwing has posted a developer blog giving more details about the game and its progress, as well as plans for the future, beyond beta tests and into early access. Playwing consists of about 30 people in Bordeaux, France, who see Century as "very close to their hearts" as they've been working on it for the last 2.5 years.
There's also a video that highlights one of the scores from the game, showing all the various elements that comprise the music, as viewed on the composer Marcus Hedges' computer. If you thought just designing the game was hard, wait until you see everything that goes into a single minute of video game music.
