Back in May, we reported about the possible resurrection of Dungeon Fighter Online, the free-to-play brawler previously published by Nexon. While Alpha was underway at that point, we still weren’t quite sure how viable the game developer’s, Neople, plan was to bring the game back online. Today we have our answer as the count down to Closed Beta is underway.

Neople has released a teaser site to countdown to the start of Closed Beta on March 24th. There isn’t much on the site right now besides the video shown above and the ability to subscribe to the game’s newsletter. If you’re excited about the return of Dungeon Fighter Online, you should probably head on over to the site, sign up for the newsletter, and keep your eyes peeled on their official Facebook page.

Stay tuned for more information.

Does it have full character customization or do they have set characters

Characters are set but you can buy avatars and items that make your character look entirely different

    Very old generic asian shi.

love how you described this game as “old”, “generic” and “asian”, which therefore made it “shit”.
“old” = 2008 = bad?? nice classification. call of duty is just as old. command and conquer is old. battlefield is old. they must all be bad, right?
“generic”. Go ahead and try to find another game out there that’s massively multi-player, arcade 2-D beat’em up and has over 45 classes. And here’s another fact, games copy off of each other. And that doesn’t make one worse than another.
this one is the best: “asian”. Sorry to tell you this but that just makes you racist and retarded. Asians can make games just as good, if not better than western developers. Hell, half of the games you play right now are developed in Asia. Please do not speak out of your ass again, kid.

Its not closed….they said its changed to Pre-OBT….Next time do your research properly before giving those misleading headlines.

Sorry, yes I saw the Open Beta banner on Facebook but the press email dated AFTER that announcement that they sent me still said “Closed” so I went with what I could verify from their communication that was the most recent.

Dude, even Neople called it as CBT until just recently, to diffuse confusion. Don’t be an arsehole

I also love touching little girls inappropriately and sniffing my little sister’s panties when no one is around.

Very mature move there, buddy. Go ahead and do that again, not worth my time talking to some pathetic chump.

Hmm. Hmm. Just the only fear I have for this game is the monetization method that’ll be used, I really don’t see how it’ll provide a profit enough to keep it running. Unless there’s a specific method I’m not aware of. If so, anyone want to tell me?

Dude its ran by neople, the original developer of this title. The monetization of this game in Korea is so good that in this day and time where titles like black desert and archeage rule the Korean market, dfo is still a top contender in korea,. With action tournaments and events every single day.
