Eve Online Is Getting A Third-Party Market Browser And A few Other Unique Tools
There’s also an AI chatbot and the workbench is being updated.

CCP Games has been doing a lot with the Eve Online API recently and has even outlined a lot of it in a dev blog full of tech-speak. If you’re that kind of nerd, you can read the whole thing on the Eve site. Of course, they’re not the only ones doing work, as has been demonstrated with a new Community Beat post from the developers.
The post details several third-party tools that are being introduced or updated thanks to the recent API work. Among these is the 2.0 version of the Eve Workbench, the Eve OS AI chatbot, and an all-new market tool – cleverly named Marquette. The 2.0 version of the Workbench is currently in beta and players can preview it. It offers information that will help players with kitting their ships.
Eve OS is also intended to help players by easily answering questions about the MMORPG. A sample of the bot at work can be found in the Community Beat post. As for the market tool, it combines features from other tools to make using the Eve Online market easier. Players can use it to draft combined contracts for buying and hauling items and keep track of prices with real-time calculations. Obviously, this is for those of you looking to get rich efficiently.
The Community Beat post didn’t just cover the API tools. The devs also provided information on things like Planetary Industry templates (It would seem there’s a whole stash of them on GitHub) and a recent Minmatar fleet battle. Of course, Eve is gonna Eve.
