Sure, you've played shooter games in the past where you were just a "Regular Joe/Jane" soldier in a sea of soldiers waging war for king and country, but have you played one where every other soldier around you was another player?

If you are looking for something a tad different on the MMO-warfare front (see what I did there?), Siegecamp's Foxhole has made the five year journey through development and launched today on Steam for $29.99.

Foxhole 1.0 (dubbed "Inferno") brings large scale, persistent wars to your PC with thousands of players working together to advance their frontlines not only through combat, but also through intelligent use of resources, trench construction, infantry, and logistics...including the new train system we previously reported.

Foxhole tasks each army with management of every aspect of the war including tank movement, gunboat management on the sea, fighting against dynamic weather that alters the battlefield, and even the management of supplies. How good is your frontline if you can't keep them equipped and fueled up?

You can check out the game today and so far the Steam Reviews clock in at "Very Positive" and that includes a TON of reviews done throughout the game's long early access period. If you want something different in the war genre, Foxhole may be worth checking out.
