Bring On Golbez, Final Fantasy XIV’s The Dark Throne Update Is Now Live
It’s time to face Golbez.
Today, Patch 6.4 The Dark Throne dropped in Final Fantasy XIV, adding the next round of MSQ story, wrapping up the Pandaemonium raid content, and continuing Tataru’s mission to make a lot of Gil – among other things.
While we wrote about the preliminary patch notes before, the official arrival of the update means that full patch notes are now available. What that mostly means is that everyone now has the full rundown on class adjustments and the like – both in PvP and regular content. The one shared change is that AOE ranges in normal content have been increased across the board. Those interested can find the patch notes on the Lodestone.
The update also means that PvP Series 4 is underway now in the MMORPG, and that means new malmstone loot – including a new mount. Season 7 of Crystalline Conflict is also kicking off. Players can now get their rewards from Season 6. Speaking of rewards, the new Season 7 rewards have been revealed on the Lodestone.
On a side note... if, for some reason, you've never done the Werlyt story quests in-game. Do them before hitting up Tataru's quest. You'll be glad you did.
