Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.45 Will Drop Before FanFest, Special Site Updated
Dust off your Blue Mage outfits. It’s time.
To no one’s surprise, Square Enix has posted an official release date for Final Fantasy XIV’s next patch, 6.45, following the announcement of the Patch 6.5 Live Letter. For those who may have missed it, the next Letter from the Producer Live will take place the Saturday of FanFest. (We’ll be sure to cover it.) We’ll be playing Patch 6.45 before that. In fact, it’s slated to drop in just five days, on July 18, so prepare your Blue Mage for its trip to level 80.
Of course, with the next update looming, that means the MMORPG's team has updated the Special Site. New content can now be found in Challenges, Items, and Media. New information is now available on the new variant and criterion dungeons. If you want a peek at the new Criterion mount, it’s the thing above. The other new addition under challenges is the Blue Mage. The Manderville quest section has been updated as well.
There’s not a lot under the new items section – just an emote. It looks like a variation on the Read emote, and new media is what you’d expect, all the images from the other sections.
