First Ghost in the Shell Trailer Sets the Stage, Makes Poor Music Choice
Nexon continues to try and takeover the western market and its next move is to release Ghost in the Shell information. The upcoming tactical based shooter was announced a long time ago, but now the time draws near for players to actually get their hands on the free to play Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online (First Assault)...there's a title for ya!
The trailer released today sets the stage for the "defending the people" premise and provides a glimpse at the much loved Ghost in the Shell universe that the game takes place in. Players will carry out battle strategies and formations as they choose from among eight initial characters. Adding a unique layer to the experience, each of these can be customized with specialized body augmentations, weapon attachments and enhanced abilities. First Assault also features “SkillSync,” which allows players to leverage shared cyber-abilities with nearby teammates in combat modes to augment and increase their skills. By using SkillSync in smart and tactical ways, teammates can work together in devastating combinations in battle.
I have to admit, I'm not a huge Ghost in the Shell type of guy. I enjoy it, but I'm not exactly a rabid fanboy. Having said that though, can someone please tell me why they opted to use an Imagine Dragons song from years ago in the trailer rather than some of the actual AMAZING music used in the anime that inspired the game? Maybe that's just me though...
This is the part of the article where I tell you that you can sign up for beta here, and you can. The first test starts on October 1st. If you're a super fan though AND you need a job, click here and see all the positions Nexon America is recruiting for on the upcoming title!

A solution for the music is by far easier than finding a solution for a shitty game, you can put your own music; however, if the game is shit, you can't do anything about it.
1. Ghost in The Shell theme
2. FPS
3. Futuristic, but still not Quake or UT
