Funcom Offering Second Round Of Secret World Legacy Transfers
In September, The Secret World veterans will have a second opportunity to benefit from the Secret World Legends Legacy Transfer System. Funcom has decided to offer a second round of Legacy Transfers... with a catch. You have to have already participated in the first round.
That's right. This second set of transfers does not appear to be intended for those who might have simply missed the first go-round. But instead, they appear to be a way to allow those who did participate in the first set of transfers the opportunity to go back and get items they might have missed out on transferring the first time.
For TSW veterans with existing Funcom points, this would be a good way to use them up and be able to benefit from them in SWL. The other potential benefit is that since the transfer will begin only when players push the button to start it -- and a date for the transfer hasn't even been set yet -- it gives those who might be so inclined the opportunity to hop back into The Secret World and earn some of those cool items they wanted but didn't get before the first transfer happened.
For those wondering, the same rules apply to this round of transfers as did to the first. You can refresh your memory on all of that by checking out the post on the Secret World Legends site. Oh. And keep in mind that if your copy of The Secret World was updated to Secret World Legends during the shift, you WILL need to download TSW again via your account page.
