If there's one thing we can say about Genshin Impact, it's that it's not short on events. So, it's not shocking that a new one kicked off today. This one's a co-op event that pits a player against three others in an elaborate game of Hide and Seek -- apparently known as "Windtrace" in Mondstadt.

To take part in the event, players need to be at least level 20 and visit the NPC Gygax. They'll either need to form a party or select co-op mode in order to be matched for this event. Keep in mind that if you're not in co-op, you won't be rewarded with the event currency -- Windtrace coins.

Unlike a normal game of Hide and Seek, Windtrace is a bit more complex in that the players have special abilities that can assist in their hiding -- or for those put in the role of Hunters... hunting. The hiders (or "Rebels") can disguise themselves, lay bait for the hunter, or become undetectable for a limited time. Hunters have abilities that will help them determine what direction Rebels went, whether or not they're in an area, dispel a Rebel's disguise, and more. The good news is that if you're playing as a Rebel, if even one of you is left standing at the end of the match, the Rebels win. (Although, the longer you can remain uncaught the better, because that determines the amount of coins you'll receive.)

The event take place in five different "contested" zones throughout all of Teyavat. If you want to take part in the event, and for some reason haven't already unlocked all of the Statues of Seven in an area, you're going to have to do that. But, chances are that by now, most players meet all the requirements and have these areas unlocked.

The Windtrace event is already underway and lasts until May 24.
