Get Spooky in Battlerite's Halloween Event
The end of Battlerite's Free Week may be on the Horizon, but that doesn't mean players won't be able to get a taste of the game's Halloween Event. Stunlock Studios announced the event, which will kick off tomorrow, in a press release today, noting that it's open to everyone participating in the free week.
The event will run for five weeks -- although Free Week players will only have access to it until October 1. During this time, players can pick up Halloween weapons, avatars, mounts, and outfits by purchasing Creepy Chests with in-game currency.
For those who haven't picked up the game yet but would still like to support it in Early Access, Stunlock Studios is offering it at 50% off through October 1. More information on Battlerite can be found on the game's site.

Yeah, in-game currency which costs MONEY. They have 3 currencies so far; gold (for silver chests), tokens (for cosmetics you don't own yet or want) and gems (currency you get by paying real money).
Last year the Halloween chests costed gold, but they went down the greedy path and put them up for gems instead. Logical though; it's free week:
Free Week = More players
More players = More money
Shame.. Really hoped I could pick up a few new skins but ended up being disappointed.
BTW : if you buy it before the free week ends, you get every champ that will be ever released forever. So i think for 10 bucks it's more than worth it.
