Go To War With Rambo In Rogue Company's Next Update
This weekend's playtest for Update 2.3 includes six-player squads and backfilling.
Action-movie hero John Rambo is heading to Rogue Company as a cosmetic bundle that players will be able to purchase when Update 2.3 goes live next month. That will kick off Year 2, Season 1, and come in multiple parts: a bundle for 2000 RB that includes a legendary skin for Seeker (along with Seeker if you don't have him unlocked), the Law of the Jungle Mythic Sahara Weapon Skin, and Snake Catcher Mythic Combat Knife Skin. An additional accessory bundle, for 1000 RB, will outfit the One Man Army with an animated banner, emote, and three weapon wraps.
Rambo isn't all that's being added in Update 2.3, as First Watch Games will also be implementing the first parts of its Project Saint revisions to the game, which were announced in January. These will include increasing squad size to six for 6v6 modes, so you can queue with more friends; more TDM maps; and the ability to join matches in progress (backfill). That last one is considered "experimental," with the developers saying that it will only be available for a limited time during each testing day, and only for casual Demolition matches.
That test will take place from 9:00 a.m. Eastern on February 18 to 9:00 a.m. Eastern on February 20. You can request access to the PTS on the Rogue Company page on Steam or on the Epic Games Store by signing in on the Rogue Company site. Details on everything in the update can be found here.
