Gremlins’ Gizmo Will Join The MultiVersus Roster On September 8
Those who prefer the antagonist Stripe will have to wait a little longer.
The adorable little Mogwai from the 1984 hit movie, Gremlins, will be entering the free-to-play crossover fighting game, MultiVersus this Thursday, September 8.
The MultiVersus Twitter account posted a short teaser trailer for the character saying he would be released on Tuesday, but the date was pushed back to Thursday on account of Gizmo being ‘camera shy’. In addition to Gizmo, his arch nemesis Stripe will also be joining the fray, but at a later date that has not yet been announced. While both characters are Mogwai, they will have different movesets and their own abilities.
In other MultiVersus news, it looks like the previously leaked Lord Of The Rings content might have been cut, possibly due to Embracer Group’s recent acquisition.
