Grinding Gear Games Announces Panels And Guests For ExileCon
The inaugural ExileCon is almost upon us, and today Grinding Gear Games dished on a few more details about what Path of Exile fans can expect at the show. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17 in Auckland, New Zealand, GGG will reveal the 3.9.0 expansion and the 4.0.0 mega-expansion, which are due to arrive in December 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Festivities kick off with a one-hour pre-show livestream at 9 a.m. local time on Friday (12 p.m. Pacific/3 p.m. Eastern), with the main show starting an hour later. Over the two days, events will include deep dives into the two expansions, the 2019 Race Finals (with a $10,000 grand prize), and panels covering procedural world generation, the evolution of PoE's renderer, and the creation of visual effects for the game.
Guests at the show include Diablo co-creators David Brevik, Max Schaefer, and Erich Schaefer, as well as a bunch of well-known PoE streamers. And, of course, the Grinding Gear Games crew will be there, led by founders Chris Wilson, Jonathan Rogers, and Erik Olofsson.
You can tune into the show via the Path of Exile Twitch channel. If you miss out, GGG will be posting videos of all the important stuff in the following days. More details can be found on the Path of Exile forums.
