Save up to 75% off expansions and other content.
US Thanksgiving is just two days away, and you know what that means. We celebrate the real American holiday, Black Friday – which isn’t just Friday anymore. It’s the season of sales. In this case, we have Guild Wars 2’s Black Friday sales, which kicked off today. During this sale, players can purchase the MMORPG's Black Lion Chest Keys and save 40%, or pick up the Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire expansion bundle and save 75%. Players interested in playing the entire dragon cycle saga can pick up the Elder Dragon Saga – The Complete Collection for half price.
The Black Friday Sale will last a week, ending on November 28, so there’s plenty of time to grab something at the game store.
In addition to the sale, ArenaNet also announced the New Hero Jump Star Bonus Event. This event, which provides players with buffs as they tackle five events in the starting zones, rewards players with a Dreambound weapon for their efforts. The event ends on December 5.
Speaking of weapons, beginning November 28, all Guild Wars 2 players – including free accounts – can test the expanded weapon proficiencies and provide feedback.
Finally, a bit of nice news. Today, ArenaNet announced that during their 2023 Extra Life marathon, they hit the $1,000,000 milestone for funds raised over the course of these marathons.
