Heroes Of The Storm Dark Nexus Content Drops Today Leading The Way For Lore

Heroes of the Storm has been around a while now, but unlike most of Blizzard's other games, it's lore has been a little overlooked. Now, the Heroes team is looking to fix that. In fact, they plan to focus on story throughout the rest of the year, giving players a chance to get to know the Nexus.
The team got things rolling last month with the announcement of the Rise of the Raven Lord comic book, a digital comic that can be read on the Heroes Media page. Something dark is on the move in the deepest parts of the Nexus, and it means war.
Yesterday, a video featuring Heroes Game Director Alan Dabiri and Creative Content Lead Kevin Johnson was posted on the Heroes site offering more insight into what they hope to do over the next year.
Today, Blizzard released the new Dark Nexus content, which ties into the story they're trying to tell. It's important to note that this content is skins and mounts. However, as noted in the video above, a lot of the game's story is told via the descriptions of these items. They're worth paying attention to.
Throughout the rest of the year, the Heroes team plans to push even more content expanding on the game's lore. This will include more things like the comic above. Don't worry, though. They're not just dropping all other things Blizzard in the process.
