Having just wrapped up the closed beta three days ago, Hounds: The Last Hope is set to kick off open beta this Friday, April 17th. Hounds focuses on mankind’s last stand for survival and allows players to take part in both PvE content and PvP content.

Players can download the client here to get ready to jump in on Friday. Once in game, you’ll have 4 classes to choose from and you’ll be on your way to blowing things up. The Assault class specializes is high defense, the Tech class can generate shields and loves using rocket launchers, bombs and destruction are the hallmarks of the Specialist class, and the Support class can help your squad out by sniping targets from afar.

    Why would I play something like this when there are high quality F2P games like Nosgoth, Planetside 2, Firefall, Warframe or Defiance….

  2. this game is suprisingly good. its the first free shooter that has a legit pve mode with item drops,crafting,quests and all you would see in a pve mmorpg. the game is not p2w at all for pve but i don’t know about pvp cause i never played pvp but only complaint i saw about pvp was that players were able to use their finishing move on players..

  3. This once respectable board has fallen so far.. The site still has decent articles and videos, but when one guy has to fill the comments with his own dialogue of vitriol with himself, then it is past time for light out…
