All Roads Lead To The Same Place In Destiny 2’s The Edge Of Fate Launch Trailer
Whatever decision you make, the outcome will still be the same.
Bungie dropped a launch trailer for Destiny 2’s The Edge of Fate yesterday. No, the update hasn’t launched yet. That won’t be until July 15. Of course, with that being only two weeks away, it’s a good idea to do a little hyping. So, we have a new launch trailer.
I’ll be honest, the opening was not what I was expecting going into a Destiny 2 trailer. It didn’t have the general vibe I associate with the sci-fi shooter. But it is a sci-fi game, so that’s on me for having expectations. What we get out of the trailer is that someone has outlined your fate for you, to the point that while you’re free to make decisions as you like, there can only be one outcome. The destination has been chosen for you. You have no choice but to go.
Perhaps the real game in this update is defying fate. That’s what you’re inclined to do, right?
