The upcoming multiplayer shopkeeping survival game Saleblazers is launching into early access on Steam this spring. Los Angeles-based game studio Airstrafe Interactive made the announcement today for their debut title, along with an official reveal trailer.

“Stranded on a mysterious island, you’ll have to sell and fight for your life to escape! Venture across the island searching for resources, but beware of powerful enemies and bosses who may stand in your way. Wield almost anything as a weapon to confront the challenges ahead – research and craft something mighty to equip, or pick up a random object and start swinging!”

Players will have to work together to stock shelves and build the greatest retail empire while completing tasks on a dangerous island. The game features an open-world sandbox, filled with lore to explore and enemies to defeat.

There will be gathering, crafting, farming, and fishing as well as buying and stealing. Stores must be constructed and customized as best as possible to lure in customers and make the most profit.

The world also features quests, boss fights, and a narrative campaign that requires working toward “building a rocket ship to freedom.” Players will be able to play with friends online and trade with others, or invade them.

No release date was given but the Steam page for Saleblazers reads Q2 2023. Check it out here.
