Investigate A Murder Case With The Help Of Your Cat Companion In This Week's Free EGS Game
It's time for a new Epic Games Store freebie and this week's offering is an old-school pixel art murder mystery game, complete with a cat companion. Palm Pioneer's Tales of the Neon Sea is a side-scrolling adventure/puzzle game set in a world where humans and robots are in conflict with each other. Of course, conflict leads to death, and there's been a murder. It's your job to solve it.
Explore a retro-styled world filled with beautiful graphics that really live up to the "neon" part of Neon Sea. Solve a wide variety of puzzles designed to challenge observation skills and logic in an effort to solve the murder case. Oh... And the cat? You can play as him. Use your 'assistant' William the black cat to explore areas you would otherwise be unable to reach.
As usual, this EGS freebie will remain up for grabs until next Thursday, at which point you'll have to drop $17 for it.
