Leave Icelake Behind With The Launch Duet Night Abyss’ First Big Content Update
Explore the new Huaxu region and fight the Scourge of Zhuyin.

The first big update for Pan Studio’s open-world RPG, Duet Night Abyss, launched today, taking players to a new region where a whole new set of problems awaits. The place may seem like paradise with mystical creatures overseeing the nation’s rules and doling out punishments on the rare occasions it’s required, but that may just hide a deeper problem.
Okay, it does, actually, hide a deeper problem, and that’s one reason Zhiliu steps in in your hour of need, whisking you away from Icelake when the heat is on.
With the launch of the new update, players have a whole new region to explore and several new characters available to join their roster. The update also includes graphic changes intended to make the region look more realistic as well as some quality-of-life adjustments.
On the topic of graphics, the devs do note that there are some known issues with the update, one of which is that some of the game’s NPCs look weird. Having played a bit already, I can attest this is the case, and some players might find it a bit off-putting. If that’s the case, holding out for a bit might be a good idea, as they are working on fixing it.
Speaking of issues, if you're waiting to play the game on Steam, you'll need to wait a bit longer. A notice on the game's Steam Page states that they're working to make sure the game is platform-compliant.
