Jagex first teased RuneScape players about Prifddinas, the Lost City of the Elves, 10 years ago, when it was featured on Gielinor’s map, and now it’s finally a part of the game — well, half of it, anyway. Better late than never, right?

Hailed as “the biggest RuneScape update of the year,” RuneScape members can access Prifddinas by completing Plague’s End. Once inside, they’ll find a beautiful crystalline city and several new areas to check out: the Tower of Voices, which serves as the city’s central hub, and sectors for each of the city’s elven clans: Iorwerth, Trahaearn, Cardarn, and Crwys.

City-wide activities include training with the guards, hunting down crystal implings, and pickpocketing the elves of the city. Because the surest way to familiarize yourself with a new place is to rob everyone blind.

With lots of room to grow, Jagex plans to expand the city in future updates. So will you be paying Prifddinas a visit?

  1. Everyone on this website is a muppet, The game merchanics are fine, it’s no ones fault that you can’t adjust to change, You might need to learn that skill away from the keyboard, Graphics have been revamped the Combat style(EOC) Is the shit

  2. Runescape is starting to look like World of Warcraft back in 2003, now, if we only wait 10 more years, Runescape will actually start looking like something, and they might even implement WASD and Jump keys…

  3. How to ruin a game by jaggex:
1.make a good game with good mechanics
2.spend a lot of money on making it better
3.Change the mechanics and call it “Runescape2”

      • I’m an 8 year veteran of the game and to me its not trash because for one Change is an occurring event throughout time where one must adapt and perceive the positives of change however those who left the community was happy to say good riddance to because those are the ones who were unhappy with every update that progressed the game to a longer future.
