The Lost Vikings have been sucked into the Nexus and are now available as a hero in Blizzard’s free-to-play MOBA, Heroes of the Storm.

This classic trio plays a bit differently from other heros and is considered a specialist role that is going to take a bit of practice to master. The Lost Vikings can split up or fight together depending on your needs. They also have the highest complexity rating possible on the game’s website.

Take a peek at the skill set:

  • Spin to Win – The Vikings use a highly advanced Nordic battle tactic, spinning wildly and giving every enemy caught within their whirl a solid knock on the head.
  • Jump – Physical fitness is core to the Viking lifestyle. Rigorous training allows the Vikings to leap out of harm’s way, avoiding all damage and bounding over enemies trying to block them in.
  • Norse Force – The best thing about being a Viking is that someone always has your back. Using Norse Force, the Vikings armor up, gaining more armor when more Vikings are still standing.

  • Heroic Abilities:

  • Longboat Raid – All Vikings are fierce invaders at heart. With this ability, all the Lost Vikings hop in a longboat that shoots a rapid fire cannon at nearby enemies, as well as a long-range mortar to destroy a wide swath of targets.
  • Play Again – The trio ensures no Viking is left behind with this heroic ability, which allows any one of them to quickly raise fallen Vikings and gather the whole group in one spot.

  • I can already tell you that this isn’t the hero for me, but if you plan to check them out, let us know how it goes in the comments!

    1. I have no interest in MOBAs at all but maaaan am I happy to see anything related to Lost Vikings!

Now just put them in a game I want to play

    2. The patch these guys came in with is a train wreck. Nerfing average/weak heroes while ignoring or barely touching the broken ones (50% damage off of gorge is not a game breaking nerf, it just means that Stiches wont solo kill your assassin now and somebody from your team has to help him with a hit or two). Feels like the spirit of WoW pvp has transferred over to Heroes of the Storm.
