Lumbridge Goblins, Wizard of Wizard's Tower, And More Fan Favorites Return For Old School Runescape's 10th Anniversary
Of course, you will be making cake... all to earn a cake hat and other cosmetics.
When anything already containing the word "old" in the title starts celebrating anniversaries, then you know you are, in fact, getting old yourself. On that note, here we go: Old School Runescape is turning 10 today. It's not exactly an age that comes with any new abilities like driving or having a beer, but hey, ten years for an MMORPG is nothing to sneeze at and ten years for one isn't exactly on the bleeding edge of graphical performance is even more impressive.
See other companies? You can keep players active and engaged with quality systems and gameplay, weird, right? Hell, Old School Runescape is even adding a new skill for the first time ever this year!
Anyway, back to the celebrations planned. It's time to compete in a "cake-off" with some of your more iconic OSRS friends. This event we see players taking quite the tour of the world and the return of some well-loved NPCs and will culminate in many rewards including, of course, a cake hat.
The video below shows some of the cosmetics added to celebrate the anniversary.
The event kicks off today and will end on March 15th.
