Mainframe Offering Ways To Make Pax Dei’s Proving Grounds Transition Easier
Shard wipes have to happen, but at least you won’t suffer as much.
By now, you should be aware of the changes that are slated to come to Pax Dei when Proving Grounds drops. The update will completely reshape the world, changing the MMORPG’s landscape, crafting, and more. As a result, Mainframe is wiping plots and shards, meaning players will need to resettle.
As it turns out, they’ve taken the difficulty of the task of rebuilding your in-game home into account. While players will still have to do the work, they won’t have to re-obtain the items that were on their plots. Instead, Mainframe is introducing a feature that will allow players to reclaim items on their plot before wiping them. This means most of the items needed to rebuild will already be available when the time comes.
This bit of good news is part of a larger FAQ. While it covers a lot of things we’ve gone over before, such as the new Journal feature, it contains the information in one spot, rather than spread out across multiple posts on the game’s site.
