Mechs Are Stomping Around In Rift Again And Ascended Need To Take Them Out Now
You know the drill: kill mechs, get motes, buy prizes.
Ascended, the mechs are back in Telara and once again it falls to you to make sure everyone is kept safe. You'd think the citizens in Rift would have figured out adequate defenses for these periodic invasions by now, but alas, that's MMORPG logic for you.
First, teleport on over to Sanctum, Meridian, or Tempest Bay and gather up the daily quests there and join in on some Warfronts. You can also jump into the dungeon queue and clear out some expert dungeons to collect "Mech Components." Zone events will also do the trick, so PvP or PvE players all have activities they can complete to earn parts.
A special quest, "Defender of the Elements", will see you travelling to a number of the MMO's zones to take on even larger mech challenges.
If you decide to knock out all the daily quests, you'll net 65 Chaos Motes per character, per day. These motes can be cashed in at the event's NPC vendor for some nifty rewards. Of course, the cash shop has a few offerings to go along with the event if you feel like spending cash.
You only have until September 9th to earn those rewards. Go knock down those machines quickly.
