Today, Webzen dropped MU Online's latest update, Season 15: Part 1. The update is packed full of new content, including a new half-bat, half-human character: the Slayer, and the new Scorched Canyon map. The level cap has been increased as well -- to 1200.

In honor of the new character, Webzen is hosting a few events for players, including rewarding players with a Talisman of Ascension just for creating a new Slayer character. Of course, you have to do it within the allowed time frame. Players will also want to take advantage of the exclusive rewards offered for hitting certain levels now available with the raised cap.

In addition, there is also an in-game event designed to help with upgrading items. During the event, Bloodangel weapons and armor that are upgraded from +9 to +11 will not be at risk of destruction. And, of course, there are some Roulette events going on on the game's site.
