Multi-Platform ARPG Genshin Impact To Release Later This Year
Later this year, a new anime-style open-world ARPG will officially launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and mobile platforms. But before that happens, it has to go through one more round of closed beta testing -- and presumably some open beta testing because that's how these things work, after all.
So, today, developer and publisher miHoYo announced they are now accepting signups for the final closed beta test of Genshin Impact. This test will focus on the PS4 version of the game and will introduce the cross-platform co-op mode for the first time. The mode will allow players on all three platforms to team up and take on the challenges found in the world of Teyvat together.
As with the game's official launch, the final closed beta test is not scheduled to take place until Q3 2020. This should give those interested plenty of time to sign up via the game's official site. (Bit of a warning for you though, this is one of those websites that play music at you almost immediately, so check your volume settings.)
