Multiplayer Survival/War Game Myth Of Empires Running Global Beta Next Week

Survival/war game Myth of Empires has announced that a closed beta test will commence next Saturday, October 2, and will run eight days, until October 10. This will be the first global beta for the multiplayer sandbox title from developer Angela Game, which also makes WW2 RTS Iron Empire.

Myth of Empires tasks players with the usual survival-game elements of, well, surviving, in an "an unforgiving world filled with bandits, wild animals, and hostile players." Fortress-building plays a large role in the game, as well as the siegecraft required to take other players' fortifications. You can build ballistas, catapults, and trebuchets to aid in your war efforts, and form guilds to gather allies for giant battles.

Other features of the game include NPCs you can recruit to handle your menial labor, and a wide variety of environments and beasts, such as elephants, rhinos, and crocodiles.
