NCSoft Bringing Lineage2M West, Beta Signups Underway
It’s mobile, but you’ll be able to play it on your PC too.
Okay, before y’all start, yes, we are talking about the mobile game. Hence the ‘M’ in Lineage2M, but it is a popular game and a lot of y’all like the Lineage IP, so we thought you’d like to know that the game will be available in Europe and the Americas on iOS and Android later on this year. At launch, the game will be available in 29 countries and localized into English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Polish.
Of interest to all you PC players out there: while the game is still a mobile game, NCSoft will also be making it available via their proprietary PC cross-play service, Purple. This means players will be able to go from phone to PC easily.
Of course, there will be some beta testing – on both fronts. In both cases, closed beta starts on November 1 at 8:00 PM Eastern. Signups for the testing period are open as of today and players have until October 28 to get their names on the list. Instructions on how to do that can be found on the Lineage2M site. You will need a PlayNC account to participate.
