New Gameplay Revealed For Shared World Survival-Crafting Game, Nightingale At The Game Awards
The new trailer offers players a look at the Realmwalker’s journey.
It is time, once again, for the annual celebration of all things gaming, The Game Awards. Of course, players will be watching and rooting for their favorite games. But, for a lot of people, the highlight of the show will be new trailers and reveals.
One such reveal tonight was a gameplay trailer for Inflexion Games’ shared world survival crafting game, Nightingale. The developer partnered with Intel to bring this trailer to the event, offering players a look at what it is that drives survival in the game’s Fae Realms, where they will rebuild what’s left of humanity.
The trailer offers a look at the cave areas of the Realms as well as the ability to glide using a magical umbrella. (This might be the first survival game with a bit of Mary Poppins flair.) The umbrella allows players to travel quickly, search for things from above, and avoid danger when necessary.
The gameplay trailer also offers a peek at some of the game’s creatures. These include giants, Elder Eotens, and fire-spitting Bound.
Nightingale is scheduled to launch sometime next year. But, before that, there’s testing to do. Currently, the game is in Closed Alpha and accepting signups. Details on how to do that can be found on the official site.
