PoE Update 3.20.1b

Grinding Gear Games has implemented Patch 3.20.1b for Path of Exile, introducing the Voidborn Reliquary Key to gain unique rewards, tweaks to "The Forbidden Sanctum" league, and corrections to rare drops in "Ruthless" mode.

The Voidborn Reliquary Key is an item that can drop anywhere in the game and will give access to the Voidborn Reliquary to gain rare prizes. Players can find various unique items suitable for different builds, like magic-focused equipment or the versatile Precursor's Emblem ring. Alongside its debut come improvements to descriptions on which stats apply to Summon Skeletons and removing modifiers (like Fire, Cold, etc.) visual effects on Minions to improve map clarity.

Path Of Exile Ruthless FAQ

A significant Sanctum change sees the Death Toll Major Affliction no longer cause monsters to drop no Aureus Coins. Grinding Gear states, "it now causes you to Lose 250 Resolve after completing 8 rooms." Ongoing runs won't be affected by the change, but you will see improved visibility of the ground degen effect when fighting Lycia and the Herald of the Scourage's lightning waves spawn more each wave.

The Ruthless mode had glitches where players could obtain Vaal Venom Gyre and pick up rare Cluster Jewels from Delirium with an 800% chance thanks to the Imagined Pursuits Atlas passive. Grinding Gear has solved these issues by removing the Vaal Venom Gyre from Ruthless and making the Atlas passive into a 10% chance of rare and corrupted drops from Delirium Encounters.
