There’s a new trailer for Version 1.0 of Myth of Empires, a multiplayer war sandbox game that’s set to launch on PC in February 2024 (with a console release planned later in the year).
The trailer showcases never-before-seen gameplay and introduces immersive content, including revamped boss AI, gliders, climbing tools, platform saddles for combat or transportation, and an all-new map named Dongzhou Island. This island, featuring islets, volcanoes, seas, and ships, serves as an expansive territory for players to explore. The Version 1.0 update also brings new traversal methods, defensive structures, mechanical collection tools, and various ways to play, including hosted and solo modes, private servers, and modding support.
Myth of Empires Version 1.0 promises an enhanced player experience. Dongzhou Island is a free addition, presenting diverse environments and new challenges. The update introduces a planting system for cultivating crops anywhere too, as well as a horse racing mode, additional characters, weapons, structures, saddles, and armor cosmetics.
"The road to Myth of Empires' Version 1.0 release has been a long and exciting one," says Angela Game Producer at and Project Director Meng Liang. "Myth of Empires will be bigger, better, and more immersive than ever, and this trailer gives players their first look at all of the cool stuff we've been working on.”

Angela Game has admitted fault and reached a settlement with Snail Games. This settlement includes a partnership that will see Snail Games assisting in the distribution of Myth of Empires.
