Paladins Invitational Opens To More Regions
The first ever Paladins Invitational is going to be bigger than we thought according to an announcement made by Hi-Rez Studios earlier today. The event, which will take place at the Hi-Rez Expo in Atlanta the weekend of January 5-8 2017, was originally known to be open to North American and European teams. However, the tournament is going to have several more regions showing off their pro gaming talent at the event. Teams from Brazil, Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, and China will all be vying for their part of the $150,000 prize.
Hi-Rez's global partners Level Up, Double Jump, and Tencent will be overseeing the regional tournaments to determine which teams from each area will make it to the Invitational at the Cobb Energy Center in January. The Invitational will feature the top 8 teams in the world fighting it out for the final win and top prize.
Those looking to attend the Paladins Invitational can do so by purchasing a ticket to the Hi-Rez Expo. The tournament will also be able to be viewed live via the Hi-Rez Twitch account.
