As Previously Teased, Path Of Exile Won't Make Sentinel A Core Mechanic Anytime Soon
Players still have time to finish their challenges in the league before time runs out.
Path of Exile’s Sentinel League will come to a close soon. This has some players wondering if this mechanic will soon be integrated as a part of Path of Exile’s core game. Sadly–at least for now–this mechanic will not become a part of the game. The reason behind this decision is that the league would need to take on some changes before it could be appropriated to become a core mechanic to POE.
Players might be happy to learn that this mechanic is something that the dev’s are interested in and are looking into for the future, but for the time being, it is time to say goodbye as the Sentinel League ends in a few weeks. With the end, players will also have to say goodbye to their existing Power Cores and Sentinels as they will all be deleted.
Many players expressed their adoration for the crafting options provided by Recombinators, and the POE team is looking for a way to bring them back in the future. If and when this happens, existing Recombinators will most likely change their function to work however the new ones function. Players don’t need to worry about a sudden change, as these changes will be signaled beforehand so that players can make sure to consume existing ones if they prefer how they used to work.
