Phantasy Star Online 2 Waker Class Drop

As of today, players of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis can begin trying out the new Waker Class. Revealed near the end of June in Headline stream, the Waker is a class that may remind players of the Summoner at first. However, instead of pets, they make use of familiars that have no need to be raised. They’re also more easily swapped out on the fly. Now, players can try this new class out for themselves and see if perhaps they have a preference between it and the Summoner.

The Waker’s Familiars – also known as Photon Life Forms – come in three types, Fredran, Wulfen, and Marmelo. They are summoned by the Waker using a Harmonizer to aid in combat. Each has its own Focus Gauge that fills while attacking or defending. Consuming Fredran and Wulfen’s gauge allows them to combine forces and use the special move, Familiar Harmony.
