Take Out Captan! Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Celebrates A Year In Action
In-game festivities kick off today.
How has it been a year already? In June of 2021, Sega launched Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis offering fans of the IP a new way to experience it with open environments, improved graphics, and more. Now, a year later, Sega is ready to celebrate the game’s first anniversary and is kicking off the festivities today.
This means in-game events and there are quite a few. During the event, each field will feature festive decorations – things like banners, lights, and fireworks. Players will also be able to locate special items like Anniversartichoke and Randomite during the event, as well as mischief symbols. Not only that, but a new enemy, Captan, has been added to all Sectors.
A limited-time quest, the Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op Drill, is available as well. Players can attempt it as much as they like in order to earn rewards. A full rundown of the event is available on the Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis site.
