Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Hellfire Vanguard Update Introduces Volcanic Stia Region

A new update dropped for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis today, adding a hot new region to the game. The Stia region is a volcanic area filled with lava pools and lava bombs, the latter of which drops from above. Interestingly, they can also be thrown, so in this case, what doesn’t kill you really can make you stronger.

The update continues the game’s story and introduces several new characters to the game including Glen and Kanui, who players will work with to determine if Dalk Falz is lurking somewhere in the area. Also included in the update is a new level increase, to 70, and new skills for all classes. There’s also a new 8-star weapon series.
