PSO2 NGS Sandstorm Requiem Update

Pack your gear and get ready to head off to join the ARKS in the desert city of Retem with Aina and Manon. This new city, and its climate, should be a breath of fresh, yet dry, air for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis players after spending all their time in Aelio. After all, there’s new stuff to explore and there are new enemies to slay, all of them armed with heavy artillery.

This new zone arrives as part of the “Sandstorm Requiem” update, which also includes a level cap raise to 35 and a new class skill for every class. It also adds three elemental techniques: wind, light, and dark. For those who care about this kind of thing (which is all of us), the update also adds a title system. Titles are earned based on in-game achievements so you’ll need to work at it. We all know how it goes.

Another new addition is “large-scale interruptive events that will occur on all Ships”, otherwise known as World Trials. These occur over multiple sectors for an extended period and offer plenty of opportunities to earn rewards.

All the details on the upcoming content were revealed today during the NGS Headline cast. If you’d like to watch it, set 50 minutes aside and check out the video below.
