PlanetSide 2 Reworks Construction, Also Adds New Events And Weapons
"Construction Reconstructed" might sound like a Schoolhouse Rock video, but it's actually the name the PlanetSide 2 devs gave their latest update. Not surprisingly, it makes major changes to the construction system, but there's also a new continent event and some new weapons.
Costs in the construction system have been reduced by 50% to 70%, with three new buildings -- the Flail, Pain Spire, and Routing Spire -- being added, each with their own unique function. In addition, players can now hook up to take on Continent Events, including the new Aerial Anomaly. Finally, no update would be complete without some new weapons, and this one brings new Battle Rifles to each faction.
You can get the synopsis of the update on the PS2 site or take a look at the full patch notes on the forums.
