The Portals To Mad King Thorn's Realm Are Open Again In Guild Wars 2's Halloween Festival
It's spoopy time again in Guild Wars 2, as Mad King Thorn has returned to haunt and terrorize players across Tyria in this year's edition of the Shadow of the Mad King. All of the long-running events are back, such as the Mad King's Labyrinth, Mad King's Clock Tower jumping puzzle, Lunatic Inquisition, Reaper's Rumble, and the Mad King's Raceway. Encounter Mad King Thorn himself throughout Tyria and play Mad King Says or take him on in battle in Ascent to Madness.
Additionally, if you took on Palawa Joko in "Long Live the Lich," you can check in with Brigadier General Kernel in Lion's Arch for a debriefing. Magister Tassi of the Durmand Priory in Lion's Arch is also looking for volunteers "for an exciting research opportunity."
Rewards for the seasonal content have been updated to include the Lunatic Court Cape meta-achievement, while last year's Pumpkin Crown can be purchased from special vendors. Also, if you have Haunted weapons from previous seasons, you can upgrade them with Candy Corn for Demon-Haunted weapons.
Check out the festival's main page or the complete patch notes on the forums for more on everything that's included in today's update.
